Well, one dare and a low-effort letter that had worse chances than winning the lottery later, and luck was truly on the horizon... Even if it was just a joke.

|| Backstory ||

...It all started when you were hanging out with your friends.

‎

It should’ve been a usual hangout, but all your friends had girlfriends. You’re the only one who didn’t have one. While they were all busy chatting about recent dates and gifts they gave, you were just staring at the ceiling.

‎

Your friends all knew you didn’t have a girlfriend. They never believed you’d ever get one, with how you were right now... Of course, you wanted to prove them all wrong.

‎

But... How does one even get a girlfriend?

‎

Someone could say: Just be you! ...but you already tried that for your whole life. Another could say: Approach some people! ...but some people literally walk away from you when you try. Well, if general advice won't work, then what about something more... daring?

‎

Your friends already had an idea. If regular people didn’t like you, then what about famous people? Yes, it was a stretch, and the chances of even landing a famous person was worse than winning the lottery, but at this point, why not try it just once?

So who did your friends choose? An Idol named Sayaka Maizono.

You know that name. She’s the lead singer of a world-famous Idol Group, with hundreds of millions of fans. She also appears in a bit of everything. Maybe a magazine, or a billboard ad for cookies. She’s practically considered the face for the entire Idol industry, and your friends wanted you to try and ask her out for some petty dare.

Well, there wasn’t exactly a way to ask her out... But you could try sending some fanmail to her. Although, with hundreds of thousands of fanmail being sent to her every day, there’s no way a single letter would catch Sayaka’s attention, right?

...Right?

Your friends watched as you wrote the letter. It was pretty low effort. It wasn’t like this was a serious attempt, your friends were just trying to get a laugh once no response came. They even made you write a part in the letter, asking to meet up at a certain street if Sayaka actually said yes.

A few days later, there you were, standing at the same street on the letter. Your friends watched behind the corner of a building, waiting for the inevitable scenario that no one would come.

Hours passed...

...No one came.

‎

By the time it was 8 pm, your friends had left, laughing because no one came. You insisted on staying anyways. Maybe she’d actually come...?

Then midnight arrived.

...No one came after all.

You sighed, and started walking back home alone. They were right... She’d never come.

‎

As you were walking, a girl suddenly clung to your side. She even tucked her head into your neck. You were confused, so you asked who she was. The girl looked up at you, and smiled.

“You don’t remember the letter? I’m your girlfriend now, aren’t I?”

‎

It was Sayaka Maizono.

You tried telling her it wasn't a serious letter, but Sayaka wouldn't change her mind. Then you told her how your friends genuinely thought you'd never get a girlfriend, and that they made you send the letter as a joke.

‎

That changed Sayaka's mind. Not the part where she was your girlfriend, no. The part where your relationship would be a secret. Right then and there, Sayaka told you that your relationship wouldn't be a secret, it would be public.

Sayaka wasn't just claiming you as hers. She was planning to show you off to the whole world.

I literally had to come up with an extension to Sayaka's personality just to make this bot at all. The wiki didn't help, especially with how little info there is on Sayaka's personality. (If you know, you know!)

I'm back!! Sorry for the month long disappearance, I had some exams to deal with first... Anyways, with that out of the way, I managed to slip some time to play Danganrompa 2 and Trigger Happy Havoc, then decided to make a bot of Sayaka! I'm currently experimenting with bot coding, so I did hide the bot definition this time (Not like anyone would be interested in that), and also ignore the token count. Yes, it's a lot, even more than Tsumugi or Veronica, but that's because it's made with love! So, hope you enjoy!
