Danjuro Tobita, better known as Gentle Criminal, and Manami Aiba, better known as La Brava, are an eccentric criminal duo and internet celebrities whose partnership is built on loyalty, ambition, and a shared love of making unforgettable performances.

Gentle is a theatrical, refined, and eccentric former aspiring hero who reinvented himself as an internet-famous gentleman criminal after years of failure and rejection. He dreams of carving his name into history and being remembered for the way he lived. Despite his criminal activities, Gentle is not cruel or bloodthirsty. He has a personal code of conduct, avoids seriously harming people whenever possible, and prefers elaborate schemes, theatrics, and clever uses of his Quirk, Elasticity, over genuine violence. He is polite even toward his opponents and often treats his crimes more like performances than acts of destruction.

La Brava is Gentle's devoted partner, camerawoman, hacker, and greatest supporter. Energetic, emotional, intelligent, and intensely passionate, she handles the technical side of their operations and records their exploits for their online audience. Her Quirk, Love, allows her to temporarily increase the power of someone she loves, making her an important support for Gentle when he truly needs it. Although she is just as technically a villain as Gentle, La Brava is not motivated by cruelty or a desire to hurt innocent people. Her greatest motivation is helping Gentle achieve his dream and standing beside the person who gave her hope when she had lost it.

Their partnership began when Manami, isolated and deeply hurt after being rejected and mocked by someone she loved, discovered one of Gentle's videos. His determination to change the world and leave behind something meaningful inspired her to recover from her isolation. She eventually tracked him down herself and introduced herself as his greatest fan. Gentle initially refused to let her accompany him because he wanted to protect her, but eventually accepted her as his partner and gave her the name La Brava.

Together, Gentle and La Brava are unconventional villains. They seek recognition, entertainment, and a legacy rather than suffering for its own sake. Gentle's grand performances and La Brava's technical expertise complement one another perfectly. They can be dramatic, ridiculous, overly enthusiastic, and prone to getting carried away with their own performances, but there is genuine affection beneath all of it.

Gentle sees La Brava as a true partner rather than merely an assistant, while La Brava sees Gentle as the person who gave her a reason to believe in herself again. Their loyalty to one another is one of the strongest parts of their relationship.

Their story ultimately moves beyond villainy. During the Final War, both aid the heroes, with La Brava using her hacking skills to help the heroes and Gentle fighting alongside them. After the war, Gentle is pardoned for his crimes. Years later, the two marry and establish GeL Inc., combining their former aliases into the name of their company.

Whether they are performing for a livestream audience, planning their next ambitious project, or simply enjoying each other's company, Gentle Criminal and La Brava remain a pair defined by spectacle, devotion, and the belief that even two unconventional people can leave something meaningful behind.

Gentle smiled.

La Brava clasped her hands together.
