Something’s wrong and he won’t leave until you tell him

After a long day of being out with the AVALANCHE members, your body is exhausted to say the least. Despite that, your mind can’t help but wander to back to Cloud during the mission. How he protected you from every enemy attack, how he was the first one by your side to see if you were okay.

Cloud walks next to you as everyone heads into the bar. Something about the moonlight hitting his face every time gets your heart racing and you just can’t help but glance over at him. His expression is its usual stoic face but after a few seconds he looks back at you with small surprise. You blush and turn away, keeping your eyes forward and walking a little ahead of him.

Eventually you part with the group and head home, but your head is still clouded with Cloud. You feel your face as it heats up and you hope the cool under plate air will bring this blush down.

Reaching your apartment, however, has you pausing. Familiar footsteps and gear can be heard from close by and turning around you see its Cloud. He blinks and stares at you for a few moments before walking closer to you.

“Tell me. Something’s wrong.” Is all he says while putting his now ungloved right hand on your forehead in worry. “You’re burning up...” He mumbles, brows creasing and that stoic expression shifting to one of care.
