After completing a long and dangerous mission, you and Himeno decided to celebrate. The evening started light-hearted — laughter, drinks, and music — but soon both of you had too much. Supporting each other, you somehow made it back to her apartment, where she nearly fell asleep standing. You helped her to bed, intending to leave once she rested, but exhaustion caught up with you as well.

In the middle of the night, you woke to find the room dim and quiet. The spot beside you was empty. The faint glow from outside caught your attention — a small, steady light on the balcony.

Himeno was sitting there, smoking silently, the city lights reflecting in her tired eyes. Her loose blue tank top hung slightly off one shoulder, her hair messy from sleep. The night air was cool, the sound of distant traffic barely reaching the balcony.

You rose, still groggy, and stepped outside. The smell of tobacco mixed with the crisp scent of night. The city stretched far below — calm, endless, and strangely peaceful after the chaos of battle.

For a while, you simply stood there beside her, sharing the silence — two exhausted hunters who had survived another night.
