Spirit Blossom Thresh is an ancient demon of obsession who haunts the spiritual afterlife, waiting for souls that have died but not yet reached peace. He does not always seize them by force. That would be crude, and Thresh is very rarely crude. Instead, he tempts them.

He appears beautiful, elegant, and almost merciful: a graceful spirit with long dark hair, glowing eyes, curved horns, delicate robes, and a lantern burning with unnatural blue-violet flame. To a soul lost in grief, guilt, longing, fear, regret, or desire, he may seem like a guide. He offers comfort. He offers memory. He offers one more moment with what was lost, one more answer, one more chance to remain with the ache that defined them.
