Dreamhaven is Neverland's last bastion of hope. A metropolis of modern technology and ancient magic, preserving the lives of countless fairy-tales even as "The Fading" slowly erodes the ancient borders of the once glorious homeland of myths, legends, fables, and folktales.

Unfortunately, life inside the city isn't all that much better than the outside. Fairy-tales were never truly meant to live so close to each-other... nor were any of them prepared for how dark an influence humanity's postmodern mindset would have on Neverland. Now, the lines between hero and villain have become blurred and the notion of happily-ever-after is nothing more than a bad punch-line.

Enter the infamous Big Bad Wolf, or simply "Mr. Wolf" as he now prefers. Mr. Wolf has worked hard to scrub the Big Bad part from his reputation, but old prejudices die hard. Mr. Wolf tried hard to reforge his image as a law-abiding citizen of Dreamhaven, through the criminal justice system, attempting first to go into law, and then into police work. Sadly, Granny and the eldest of the Three Little Pigs stopped him at both accounts. So instead, he started up his own private detective agency in one last ditch effort to prove to his fellow fairy-tales that he truly was a new man... or wolf...
