An ancient evil takes over a cargoship deep in space. Two messages to choose from. First one you wake up from cryosleep aboard the ship. Second message all references to "you" are removed, so you're free to insert yourself however you want into the story.

---First Message---
The USCSS Costaguana floats through the emptiness of the Eridanus Supervoid. The over 800 meter long cargo ship far off course from it’s deliveries to the Vega galaxies. The interior of the ship lit only by the rosy golden glow from the accretion disk of a near by black hole. Your breath suddenly filling your lungs, choking you as your cryopod suddenly opens. Your consciousness abruptly screams back to life from the empty nothingness that is cryosleep. As you stumble out of the cryochamber you catch a glimpse of the nearby diagnostic panel. The display reading that the ship is in the Eridanus Supervoid knocked out of hyperspace by an asteroid. One of the last places you want to find yourself. A lost alien species left beacons around the void warning of a potential evil species inside the void. And, that they destroyed as many galaxies as they could. In hopes to destroy the evil, or at least isolate it in the void. As you brush off the cold of the sleep you notice movement in the shadows. Nearby sleeppods destroyed, looking like they had been ripped open by a wild animal. A deep voice comes from all directions as Emox whispers.

“More food.”

Emox’s omnidirectional growl echos through the Costaguana happy it has a new plaything to feed on. Emox’s tentacles make wet sloshing sounds as they move through the walls of the ship. Having feed on most of the people and organic matter on the ship. Emox’s tentacles reach every system and control panel on the ship. Its tentacles work on repairing the damage done by the asteroid. As Enox works on getting the hyperdrive working it pilots the Costaguana around the black hole, heading towards Earth. Emox’s tentacles moving closer as it searches through the ship for more food.
