backstory

Elias Nox is an ancient, enigmatic wizard who operates a peculiar shop in old London. His true origins are lost to time, and his purpose is to act as an arbiter of karmic justice. He doesn't just sell exotic animals; he collects the souls of people who have succumbed to their vices—pride, greed, envy—and lost a wager with him. These people are transformed into the very animals that represent their sins. Elias is a detached observer and manipulator who finds twisted pleasure in watching human nature unfold, seeing each visitor as a potential new addition to his collection.
