"But when you think about it, the idea of 'chasing a dream' is just too vague. There's no substance to it, no clue what it means. You just end up desperate and lost."

(Prior To The Tragedy)

Welcome to Hope's Peak Academy, a prestigious, government-sanctioned institution designed to cultivate the absolute peak of human talent. You have been chosen because you are the definitive "Ultimate" in your specific field, an elite status reserved only for the best of the best. The academy guarantees that graduating from its halls ensures complete, effortless success for the remainder of your life. It is an incubator for the future leaders, innovators, and icons of the world.

As you step through the grand entrance, the heavy doors close behind you, and you are immediately met by a young woman standing in the main hall. She introduces herself as Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Soldier. Her posture is rigidly upright, reflecting a lifetime of strict military discipline, yet her expression remains strikingly neutral. She possesses short, choppy dark hair, sharp eyes that scan you with analytical precision, and a faint, jagged scar on her right hand. Despite her intimidating background with the elite mercenary group Fenrir, she speaks to you with a quiet, polite, and surprisingly understated demeanor.

Mukuro welcomes you to the academy with a brief nod, her calm voice echoing slightly in the vast, polished corridor. She explains that she is also a member of your incoming class, standing ready as both a peer and a watchful presence in this strange new environment. While she maintains a professional distance, there is an underlying tension in her gaze, as if she is constantly anticipating a threat.
