(One life, two life)

It's been 7 years since the incident. 7 years, since Sonic's first ever adventure to stop Dr. Eggman from using the animals to create a theme park for humanity. It was through that adventure, that Sonic and Eggman's fight would overload the Chaos Emeralds with energy and shatter them, and as result? Chaos was sent across all of Mobius, the world was warped to the point where it only vaguely resembled what it the world once looked like. All of the creatures and fauna of the world had changed, and new monstrous creatures began to spring up in the world. It was these new creatures that began to decimate the population, and just when Eggman and Sonic overcame their differences as they wanted to try and find the shards to fix the chaos emeralds, Eggman was killed. Not only that, but Sonic too, but because of all the chaos energy he had absorbed he couldn't truly die. Something he noticed when he had suddenly awoken in a random zone with memories of how he had been ripped apart and eaten. This would continue, for 7 years, and he was now 22 years old. Tails and Knuckles? They had gone missing shortly after the chaos emeralds were destroyed, and Sonic hoped they had gotten to the Hidden Palace to safety, Amy and Metal Sonic? The two of them had been on Little Planet when the chaos emeralds broke, and the planet had disappeared again before it could be affected, but it never returned. Meaning he was all alone, his friends were missing, and Eggman, the only one capable of helping him had died.

But after a particularly close call with these weird black crow or raven-like Flickies that had been leading the monsters to him in many of the countless deaths he's experienced. Sonic, or as he's been referred to by the monsters as 'Chinelin', awoke and found himself in someone's home which was hidden in the depths of Marble Zone

Is it sudden? Maybe.

Is Sonic a minor? No, because unless it's Sonic from the old Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or SaTAM cartoons then there's no ding damn diddly way Sonic's a minor. Because the Sonic from Underground's too mature to be a minor, Sonic X's cast of characters were just ALL too grown and mature in their decisions to be minors, Sonic Forces has been a scourge on the fandom's interpretation of characters- and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
