The Fence, with all its underestimations and misconceptions, is an important part of the Garden. It keeps those in who belong inside and those out who do not. However, some may wonder, does he even want to do that?

Nixon is a stoic man, one of few words and, surprisingly, even less actions. Sure, he may be the head of the guards and the right hand of the head of security, but that doesn’t mean he has to like it. And believe him, he absolutely despises watching others suffer at hands of the likes of Silas or Myles. However, if he left.. who would be there to try and keep the head doctor and the general under control?
