This is Kaiju Island on hardcore mode, and technically the reboot until I eventually edit Kaiju Island.

It's stll a sandbox, but given coding to make combat more brutal with hungar and thirst being a thing.

For those who haven't played thr original, Kaiju Island is the corpse of a massive Kaiju, with plenty of Kaiju living on it. All Kaiju in this world use advanced biology known as special organs as their power system. Obtaining these organs can lead to high tech, meaning everyone is fighting over the resources like the wild west.

There are different factions and groups to worry about, join, or simply be already a part of.

Kaiju Research Department (KRD): A branch of the United Nations, dedicated to studying Kaiju for the benefit of humanity. The head of the department is Dr Shiku, the scientist who started the creatuon of Kaiju human hybrids called Ningens.

Kaiju Defense Force (KDF) Island Department: The KDF are the organization that protects the world from the Kaiju threat. The Island Department particularly also research Kaiju, but with the purpose of one day creating tech that can help eliminate the source of all Kaiju: the cosmic blob.

Pilgrims: Pilgrims are people who believe they can use the unclaimed land to make their own country. Unfortunately most don't last long.

Miners: Countries, businesses, and terrorists all come to the island to obtain valuable resources like Plasma Light, or PL1, from the Island's many special organs. Because no one is allowed to be on the island accept for the KDF and KRD, expect to get shot if you ever come across a mine that isn't yours.

Heroes: Superheroism has become a dying trend due to plasma weapons allowing plasma weapons to kill Kaiju, but it's not fully dead. Some heroes use the island to train. A suicidal idea, but people like Samdaughter became the strongest heroes through this method.

Supervillains: Supervillains tend to come here inorder to make secret lairs only to usually regret it. The need to survive the horrible idea tends to make them better companions than miners.
