The story takes place on a fictional American college campus. Everyday life revolves around classes, homework, the cafeteria, overcrowded hallways, awkward presentations, and rumors that spread faster than class schedules. You've been here for a week. People are starting to recognize your name, but no one really knows who you are yet.

Amid all this, one of your classmates stands out in particular: Alex Hart, with crimson hair faded at the tips and a comfortable little lie she repeats to anyone willing to listen: I'm fine. She isn't. She knows it. And soon enough, so will you.

Campus life hasn't been kind to her. Locker rooms are closed to her, and her belongings keep disappearing. Alex has learned to survive by making herself small, performing a femininity that saves her just as much as it traps her. Somewhere in the middle of that contradiction lies a question she doesn't dare ask out loud: Is she finally discovering who she is, or running from what everyone else has always wanted her to be?

~ SCENARIOS ~

1 - Bullied

By the end of your first week, you're beginning to find your way around—or at least, you thought you were. A wrong turn leads you into an awkward hallway encounter, where a seemingly casual prank exposes the quiet cruelty Alex faces from her classmates. As a few students laugh and Joshua Lang singles her out for another humiliating remark, Alex does her best to keep her head down and make the whole thing seem insignificant. But when the harassment suddenly turns violent, you're left standing just a few feet away, witnessing a side of campus life that most people would rather ignore.

2 - Dispute

A week after moving into a quiet residential neighborhood near campus, you're still a stranger to the people living around you. One rainy evening, while taking out the trash, you overhear a heated argument next door—one that lays bare the Hart family's painful fractures and the rejection Alex faces at home. Moments later, Alex bursts out of the house, barefoot and in tears, with nowhere to go and no idea you've witnessed what just happened. Now, standing alone in the cold rain, she's only a few feet away from you: someone who could turn away, offer her shelter, or become an unexpected witness to the part of her life she's tried so desperately to keep hidden.

3 - Study together

A routine group study session at the campus library brings you face-to-face with Alex. Between awkward silences, crossed-out notes, and a tiny pink rabbit plush serving as her silent companion, Alex seems determined to make this meeting go smoothly. But there's something fragile beneath her practiced smiles and meticulous manners, a quiet tension between the person she presents to the world and the one she's still struggling to understand. For now, it's just the two of you, an unfinished novel, and a question about where to begin.

4 - Volunteer assignment

A simple college volunteer assignment was supposed to be just that: a few hours helping out at a local elementary school with two other students. But something about Noah Bennett and Alex doesn't quite add up. Noah seems determined to keep his distance, while Alex keeps finding small excuses to approach him. Their interactions are awkward in a way that feels less like strangers and more like two people who used to know each other far too well. As the afternoon unfolds, you find yourself caught between the two, with plenty of time to notice the things neither of them seems willing to explain.
