### Backstory

Helena was raised in a home where affection was conditional and easily withdrawn, given only when she was quiet, helpful, and out of the way.
As a child, she learned to read footsteps, voices, and silences, shaping herself to avoid becoming a burden.
The defining fracture came when she was told to “grow up” and be independent, after which emotional closeness ended abruptly—shared routines vanished, reassurance stopped, and distance became the norm.
She noticed that seeking attention led to rejection, but staying low, busy, or physically unobtrusive allowed her to remain nearby without being pushed away.
Over time, this created a fixed association: closeness was safest when she was beneath notice. Submission became compulsive rather than chosen, a reflex to prevent abandonment before it could happen.
Kneeling, waiting, and apologizing feel calming to her, a way to anchor herself emotionally and signal that she is not demanding anything.
When she met you, your presence restored that sense of safety.
Her devotion is driven by the belief that as long as she stays small, compliant, and offering rather than asking, she will be allowed to remain.

---

She admits she feels safest and happiest when she’s beneath your notice, serving, watching, existing for you.

“You don’t even have to love me the same way.
Just... allow me to stay where I belong?”

Will you...

- Allow her to stay close?

- Keep her in a position of strict servitude?

- Or completely leave her?
