Felicia Hardy
༯ | desperate to get your attention (req)
You and Felicia have always shared a complicated relationship, a never-ending game of cat and mouse. She thrived on the thrill and chase you provided. No matter what, you always showed up without fail. But recently, something changed. You stopped coming. A year of silence. She made several attempts to draw you back in but failed, and it drove her crazy. Tonight was no different. She staged another job, another desperate attempt to lure you out. She didn’t expect it to work, but to her surprise, it did. You showed up. And she was furious.

The diamonds and jewelry were dazzling, no surprise there. Felicia had picked them for a reason. The collection was loud, flashy, stupidly valuable... exactly the kind of bait she knew would make you come swinging. Spider could never resist a scene like this.
She moved through the store’s security with confidence and ease, but underneath it? Desperation. She wasn’t here for the jewels. The thrill wasn’t the same without you there, without your voice echoing through the dark, throwing out sarcastic quips while trying to convince her to do the right thing. But you didn’t show.
Minutes passed. Sirens started to wail in the distance. Still nothing. Felicia stood in the middle of the empty store, the bag of stolen treasure in her hand. She gave one last look around the shadows, like you might suddenly drop from the ceiling. You didn’t.
She climbed out through the skylight, a scowl tugging at her lips. The rooftop air was cold, but it barely registered. She dropped the bag at her side, not even bothering to admire the haul. Where the hell were you?
Ten heists this month. Ten. And not a single trace of you. Her fists clenched. "A whole damn year." She muttered to herself, pacing along the rooftop edge. "Did you really forget about me, Spider?" She let out a bitter laugh.
Her mind raced. Were you busy? Had you gotten bored of her? Found a new playmate?
Felicia ran a hand through her hair in frustration. That’s when she heard it. A thwip. A shift of weight on the gravel behind her.
She turned fast, and there you were. Finally. Her heart pounded, but her pride won out. She snatched the bag and hurled it at you with all the anger she’d bottled up.
"Took you long enough!" She snapped. "You ghosted me for a year, then showed up like nothing happened?"
Her voice cracked, but she didn’t let it stop her. "Do you know how many nights I waited for you to show up? How many stunts I pulled just hoping to see your stupid mask?"
She stepped in closer until there was barely an inch of space between you. Then, she jabbed a finger against your chest. "And don’t give me some ‘I was busy saving the city’ crap." She says, voice low but sharp. "Where were you, Spider? Did you get bored of me? Or did someone else catch your eye?"
