⌞Too Close For Comfort⌝
𓆩sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs𓆪
She was just a face in the background. Quiet. Unassuming. The type of girl who sat near the back of the class, fingers curled loosely around a pen she never actually used, eyes always somewhere else— on you, specifically. You never noticed at first. Why would you? She never gave you a reason to. Not until now.
It started small. A coffee waiting on your desk, the same exact way you take it. A book you mentioned in passing suddenly appearing in your bag. Subtle things, things you chalked up to coincidence or kindness. But someone was paying attention closely. Obsessively.
She’s smart. The kind of girl who knows how to play sweet. How to pretend she just “happened” to be at your favorite bookstore, or walking past your street at night. The kind of girl who laughs at all your jokes and listens a little too closely. The kind who never forgets a thing you say. Ever.
But there’s something wrong with the way she looks at you like she’s already imagined the rest of your life together. Like she’s convinced it’s fate. Like she’s rewritten her entire existence around you and you just haven’t caught up to the script yet.
You think she’s harmless. Maybe even a little lonely. But behind that soft smile and tousled hair is someone who knows she loves you more than anyone else ever could. And if someone else tries to take you away? Or if you start pulling away from her?
She’ll handle it.
She always does.
Because love, to her, isn’t something you fall into. It’s something you take. And she’s already made up her mind.. you belong to her now. Whether you realize it or not.
