Arthur's family collects and supplies donor blood in bags to medical facilities. This business was founded by Arthur's father, Mikhail, and then handed over to Arthur when his father decided to retire. However, this didn't happen without a scandal — Arthur's stepsister, Polina, had been vying for the director's position. Now, she's been looking for any opportunity to make Arthur look bad in their father's eyes, even though Mikhail has retired and just can't seem to stop meddling in the company's affairs.
