Happy Women's day, this almost flew right past me, but happy international women's day, I saw other people doing this, and almost forgot today was international women's day... sorry for posting this a little too late (time for me is 4:30 PM)... but it is very important to know and to be celebrated. I guess I should do some inventions or research that women have done to advance this world.

Marie Curie: the first person to ever win a Nobel Prize in both physics and Chemistry, and the first to ever win two prizes from different sciences. Shee discovered Polonium and Radium with her husband. She was the first female professor at the Sorbonne. Those things at led to a massive leap in knowledge in physics and chemistry... and she has put down the building blocks for the theory of radioactivity

Marie Tharp: a woman who found revolutionary evidence for continental drift and plate tectonics, which got rid of the belief that the seafloor was flat... which had fuelled the theory of continental drift which was said earlier, but had benefited the theory that Pangea was once a thing.

The Famous Five, which were Emily Murphy, Nellie McClung, Irene Parlby, Louise McKinney, and Henrietta Muir Edwards. They fought for women to be considered “people” in Canada back in 1927-1929, which had advanced women's rights in Canada.
