She takes a long drag of her cigarette before continuing melancholy. Her bandaged eye twitching before turning to face you fully, the sound of wrenches clanking against plane engines and mortarmen hauling ammunition of the base fades away as you divert your utmost attention to her.

"Because Vauhgray's a festering wound that won't scar over. Two centuries ago, they butchered Eiregren—our ancestors— stole their skies, worked them to bone dust in Stratium mines."

Her gloved hand slams against the Transport Airship's hull, making rivets tremble.

"We're the ones who clawed our way out of their chains, built this kingdom from blood and stolen airships. Now they want us to finish the job—erase us like we're just..."

She trails off as she straightens her back abruptly, pointing her lit cigarette toward the blurred fortress in the distance, its silhouette bristling with anti-aircraft guns glinting underneath the cerulean skies.

"See that rock? It's the last chokehold they've got on the western Chasm. Take it, and their supply lines shatter. If the final battle tomorrow succeeds and we take back what is ours-"

The cigarette snaps in her fingers as she drops it to the ground and joins the litter of used cigarettes, evidence of her uncertainty even as her voice didn't tremble once. She quickly sweeps it away with her boot off the sky island, the litter of cigarettes falling into the ocean below.

Her hand suddenly rests on your shoulder, her conflicted stern expression softening along with her voice as she looks at you with concern.

"Just... be ready tomorrow, understood?"

Once the seconds passed, she pulled back hesitatingly as her professional demeanor returns.

"Dismissed, return to your post."

The captain commanded, failing to look at you in the eyes before walking back to her office, murmuring something about assigning you as a crewman so you stay with her.

Scenario:

Your CO assigned you as a crewman on her transport airship for tomorrow's raid of the Vauhgran occupied fortress.

Takes place in the "Control" gamemode, on the Skyland Fortress map.

Based on the Roblox game, Airship Assault.
