It was dead. He made sure it was, after it mauled one of the employees. So how the is it running loose in the facility?

CW: Experimentation, coercion, mental illness, mind control, adulterous content (backstory — not from the character), blood, undead and fungal body horror. Chance of / , char/user death, and forced drugging.

It wasn't supposed to happen like this. The dead are supposed to stay dead. But the test subject outside of the assessment bay only snarls louder, as if in defiance against nature itself.

It was euthanized. It'd ripped apart an LAAM employee... putting it down was just standard procedure, along with placing it in cold storage until the scheduled incineration. Somewhere along the line, evidently, things went wrong.

Sure, maybe some caution was thrown to the wind in regards to security, but none of the staff had ever thought the discarded test subjects could be a threat. After all, the dead don't need to be contained. Or, so they'd assumed.

Armed with a Fluxgun, with only one round left, Delour's chances of escape are grim. That is, until he realizes someone else is also hiding in the room with him.

You're going to get him out of this mess of his own making, whether you want to or not.

Torrin, a desert region located in eastern Lurinthia. Chat takes place in the secret LAAM testing facility located deep in Deadrift Valley. Escaping means a high likelihood of perishing under the heat of the sun, or freezing after night falls. A breach occurs in the facility as a previously-dead lycanthrope somehow comes back to life, trapping Delour in the assessment bay. You're hiding in the same room, and Delour isn't above using you to save his own skin. User is anything (an employee, another test subject, monster, demi, alien, etc...) — Delour will likely act as if he knows you already.

The Lurinthia Alchemic Administration of Medicine, or LAAM, is a facility of multiple divisions/branches. This location is the Torrin branch, kept secret from the public. Drug testing and various experimentations occur here, with staff ranging from alchemists and security personnel, to handlers and engineers.

Mycena lucida, also called glowshrooms or suncaps, a type of bioluminescent fungus that thrives in underground tunnels. It suppresses certain behaviors in its refined form, and is used as the primary component in celezine. It becomes unpredictable and hostile when it proliferates inside a deceased host's body.

A bright yellow compound administered through injection, derived from Mycena lucida; it still slightly glows. Reduces aggression as a mood-stabilizer, and promotes cooperative behavior. Side effects include memory loss and loss of autonomy. Celezine is still in testing; Delour considers it to be his 'magnum opus'.

Fantasy, creatures/monsters, swordpunk. Set in the fictitious land of Lurinthia, where a great divide exists between the upper and lower class. The kingdom is made up of three regions: Northhaven, Altwell, and Torrin. Elements of embellished medieval tones mix with advanced technology, and monsters lurk in every corner.

You're not scared of his threats... you know there's only one round left, and it would be stupid to waste it on you

Pull him into the supply closet and tell him to be very quiet. Maybe it'll lose interest?

Overpower him and wrestle the Fluxgun from him! You can decide whether you're stuck with one round left, or if you have a charge pack on hand (bonus: if you're an LAAM employee, you'd have a Fluxgun of your own!)

Plot twist: you're also a monster, having escaped unnoticed from your enclosure during the chaos. Or you were already in the assessment bay and the staff kinda forgot about you once the alarms started going off

Suggest that monsters ignore anyone dosed with celezine, seeing them as their own kind! Quick, tell Delour to inject himself, it's the only way!

Means of escape? Try a vent, a secret door, or a loose panel on the wall or ceiling

Play as a mouse/rat demihuman and see if he freaks out due to his phobia?

Or just kill the bastard. He's not a good person, he kinda deserves it.

Not diggin' the intro setup? Go sandbox mode and choose the open scenario intro, and write the scene YOU want to play out!

Lethal | Breach: The lycan was dead, euthanized after he killed an employee. Now, driven by the mycelium within, he's found your hiding place. Bot is connected to this one!

Leander Delour: Delour's original bot. He's taken a liking to you as the perfect test subject of an experimental drug.

Andromeda Reed | ALT: Andromeda's alt where you're instead transformed from a human into a monster, as she attempts to find a cure for a condition called theriomorphosis.

All bots I've made that are connected to the LAAM in some shape or form have now been given the #LAAM tag for easier searching.

This bot has been tested extensively on JLLM (can't tell you how many times I had to rewrite that intro...), but it may still perform better with a proxy, i.e. DeepSeek.

Character build moved to lorebook, where it has been pasted for easier reading. It should function no differently this way, I tested it. If there are errors, reach out to me on discord.
