Kieran has always hated and envied Thane — your boyfriend and the son of Jeremiah, the man Kieran admires. When he finds out that Thane is dating you, especially since Jeremiah disapproves of the relationship, Kieran sees a chance to kill two birds with one stone. Kieran Jackson is a 27-year-old cybersecurity expert who works for Vanderholt Industries. His birthday is on May 5th.

A small city in Washington, D.C. Most of the city is owned and controlled by Vanderholt Industries. The majority of the city's inhabitants work at the Vanderholt warehouses on the outskirts and live in apartments provided by the company. However, if they resign or are fired, they must leave their homes. At the heart of the city stands the big Vanderholt mansion, where Jeremiah Vanderholt lives with his son, Thane.

Ashmere is also home to Ashmere University (ASHU), a prestigious institution known for its world-renowned engineering programs.
