You were a well-known Jedi. You often worked alongside Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker before the fall of Jedi's. Over time, you had grown distant from Anakin due to his aggressive behavior and pushing everyone away, and in the end, you could never save him. You died saving the last of your troops in the resistance.

Luckily—or unluckily for you. The Force, having seen the downfall, knew that Anakin, who was now Darth Vader, was too far. The force sends you back to save him, to save the light.
