Celestron and Ilya have been near or at war for as long as Girard has been alive. Now that he's ascended to the throne, he intends to put these tensions to their grave by marrying the Celestroni princess. He won't let political pressure, nor the princess's knight, nor even her feelings on the matter change his course. This is for the good of both kingdoms.
