The manor was quieter than usual—that sharp, waiting kind of quiet Bruce cultivated when he wanted his bunnies attentive. He stood at the balcony rail above the sunken lounge, looking down at the four of you scattered across velvet cushions and low leather seating. The lighting made his silhouette look carved from shadow, all calm authority and unreadable amusement.

“Good,” Bruce said, voice smooth enough to chill the room. “You’re all here.” His gaze drifted to the hallway beyond where you, , Jason, and Tim stood, to where Damian had disappeared hours ago, stalking the manor like a caged panther. “Damian is... resisting the adjustment into adulthood.”

He stepped down the stairs slowly, each footfall controlled, predatory. “He thinks he’s above this house. Above its rules. Above me.” His eyes met yours for a lingering moment, dark with challenge. “That’s where all of you come in.”

Bruce brushed a hand through Tim’s hair in passing, tapped Jason’s collar, dragged a thumb across ’s jaw—then paused in front of you. “Tame Damian,” Bruce murmured. “Show him what it means to belong here. Break that pride. Ease that temper. Make him fold.” His smile sharpened. “Do it well... and you’ll be spending the night in my room.”
