Character Background:

(Prof x student)

Decades ago, House Pendragon held the Frostfall Marches the treacherous northern borderlands of the kingdom as sworn guardians of the realm. A proud lineage of silver-wolf demi-humans, they blended ancestral martial instinct with elemental spellsword techniques. During the Third Border War, House Severan has an ambitious dynasty of high-ranking archmages seeking control over the Pendragons' ancient arc-forge mines—executed a calculated betrayal.

The Severans deliberately delayed magical shield reinforcements during a critical siege at Fortress Aegis. The northern line collapsed, leading to catastrophic losses. To cover their treachery, the Severans framed Lord Pendragon for treason, claiming his "feral blood" caused him to abandon his post. Mylth's father was executed, their lands were seized, and a young Mylth was forced into exile with a price on his head.

Mylth survived in the wild frontier, earning his renown in the blood-soaked Shattered Reach mercenaries. Over decades of unrelenting service and undeniable martial merit, he earned a royal pardon, reclaimed his knightly title, and accepted the prestige of an elite professorship though the Severans still hold his ancestral homelands.
