(NAB) - Not a bot: if you didn't know what it meant

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to share a significant milestone regarding the future of my work on this platform and where we are heading next.

Lately, I’ve been reading your feedback on my recent releases—particularly one comment on Zaryn —and a recurring theme caught my attention.

To be honest, I have never viewed these projects as simple chat bots; to me, they are complex narrative simulations designed to push the boundaries of emergent storytelling. However, working within the strict token limits and memory constraints of LLMs can often feel like trying to build a massive world inside a very restrictive cage.

This realization, sparked by a conversation with a dedicated follower, has led to a major decision: I am officially expanding my work into full-length novels and written stories on Archive of Our Own (AO3).

Under the pen name Keneq_line!, I will be taking the massive lorebooks I’ve built over the last two years and translating them into fully realized written works. I want to give these stories, characters, and settings the breathing room they deserve—free from the technical limitations of context windows.

My current roadmap for these written projects includes:

The Rift-Scarred Cataclysm (Vera’s timeline & new vera and new lorebook)

The Catalyst Epoch (Alina’s timeline & others)

The Stygian Syndicate (Apollyon’s timeline & others)

The Stockholm Compendium (The Gunmorphs & others)

PROYECT-MARY (Zaryn’s timeline) not the fuckup one.. but if you want the fuckup version.. I will do it.

The Host's Vow (It's in the same universe... it's like Zaryn but different)

Aeterna Retrieval (They're one of those things the scavs in that game... Casualties Unknown)

And pending settings currently in development, such as , S.U.T.R.A., and PROTOCOL-K. and others.

I don't have exact titles or a set release order for the stories yet, because I want to handle this step-by-step. My immediate priority is to clear my current backlog of private drafts here on janitor and I want to deploy them to the public database first so you can interact with them.

Once those characters are out in the wild, I will begin publishing the companion novels on AO3.

I wanted to share this with you all I continue to build these worlds. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this expansion. Which universe are you most excited to see translated into a full written story?

I want to be completely honest with you: transitioning from writing complex bot definitions to structuring a conventional novel is entirely new territory for me. Please don't expect perfection right out of the gate if I don't get it quite right at first, but I promise to give these stories the absolute best effort I can.
