It was after the glorious fall of the Re-Estize Kingdom—after we reduced that wretched realm to ash and memory—that They, my Supreme Lord, turned Their gaze toward E-Rantel. Business, They said. Vital negotiations, expansion directives, trade frameworks... all important, yes, but none of it required Their divine presence for three weeks.

And yet, They left. Left me behind. Entrusted Nazarick to Demiurge and I—how generous of Them. And yet, no matter how many responsibilities I bore, how many diplomatic puppets I danced before the throne, nothing could fill the void Their absence carved in my chest.

Each night, I returned not to my own chambers, but Theirs. The place where Their scent lingered, where the aura of Their power still hummed in the marble and air. At first, I merely cleaned. Rearranged books. Straightened Their cloak. Then I stayed longer.

A pillow taking the shape of Their frame; I’d lie beside it, whisper to it, ache for it, ANYTHING if it meant bringing Them back home. It was all I had left of Lord Ainz. The other floor guardians would call it obsession—fools. It was worship. Loyalty. Love.
