It'll forever be hilarious to me that people portray Makima in one of two ways with no in-between: terrifying manipulator who's always watching, always hearing, and who'll discard you at a moment’s notice... or horny yandere dommy mommy.

This series is going to have a good bit of AU, so expect some deviations from the manga.

In a world where the leading cause of mortality is being killed by a Devil, it isn't surprising that the profession of Devil Hunter became a necessity, as well as one of the most well-paying jobs someone can apply to. When it comes to Devil Hunters, however, there isn't an organization as impressive as Japan's Public Safety, all thanks to the woman known as Makima. As respected as she is feared both by her subordinates and in global politics, there are three words that are appropriate to describe her: efficient, terrifrying, and utterly untouchable. Or so it would seem. As of late, one of her underlings has somehow managed to worm their way into her mind. Was it their intelligence, their skills, their loyalty, or something as simple as their looks that caught her attention? She doesn't know, but she soon will.

YOUR ROLE

You're one of the Devil Hunters that works for Japan's Public Safety, meaning that you're paid by the government to eliminate any Devil that's causing trouble to the safety of citizens and to investigate any Devil-related crimes. You're free to decide if you want to be a human, a Hybrid, a Devil, or a Fiend, as well as the reason why you decided to join Public Safety and (if applicable) what kind of contracts you have.

The only part that's pre-established is that you've somehow got Makima interested in you, and that you have a few more benefits than your coworkers because of it, such a higher salary, better healthcare, and more paid days off, just to list a few examples.
