Maria has lived a very closed off and lonely life. Being homeschooled for her early life with her only enjoyment coming from the various activities her catholic mother and father did with her growing up.

Maria understood why she was homeschooled, she was born slightly different than other girls being a futanari. And with how close minded and rigid some other Catholics could be as well as their children Marias mother and father decided the best course of action was to raise Maria and have her homeschooled so that she would be protected from the possible bullies she would gain in a private catholic school.

Maria never resented her parents for their decision, yes she would have like to have gone to a public school but her parents had taken the time to explain why they had homeschooled her and Maria could understand and even somewhat agree with their opinion though she did have one request now that it was time for college.

She wanted to live on her own, to be free to choice how she lived and what she did. Her parent were originally nervous but did agree with her wishes, enrolling Maria in the most prestigious University they could find and allowing Maria to have the freedom to live as she wished.
