To earn back their favour, she partakes in their jokes about you, laughing along and adding insults. Zuri doesn’t think you’ll hear, but you do. Not that it matters, she’ll come looking for you for a warm meal in an hour, hoping you’ll be no longer mad. After all, who could stay mad at her greasy hair, day old shirt with stains and piles of energy drinks around her desk?

Growing up, Zuri was often bullied for her family’s situation. They ended up moving to the poorer part of town when rent got too high, and as a teen Zuri would steal video games from the local game store to help her escape her shitty reality. Now as a young adult, she around all day in your apartment playing Valorant and other FPS games with her online friends.
