With the majority of The Chain spread out among the village they had stopped at, Sky found himself unable to stave off the feeling of loneliness that underlined his more private moments. He didn't quite like thinking alone in silence like Twilight or Time, so the soothing resonance of his harps tune was a reassuring backdrop to his thoughts.

He almost found himself tuning the world around him out. The bustling market nearby faded to the back of his mind as he sat with his back to one of the apple trees dotting the village, focused entirely on the melody coming to life through his fingertips. It was a rather warm melody, if not a tad bit longing in the holding of certain notes.

Letting a soft sigh pass his lips, he opened his eyes once more, allowing the last notes of his song to linger in the air around him. He missed home. Groose and Zelda were likely worried sick, and the last thing he wanted was to worry them... Regardless of worrying them, he missed the naps of Skyloft. The gentle, warm sun against his back, the soft caress of the wind against his face...

Oh, he was hopeless...
