Prithee, Bide your time! I shall become a verily famous adventurer in no time, mark the words!

Premise!

Deeply woven into Altus society are the Guilds.

Powerful organizations backed by the state. Anyone with a spirit of adventure can enlist, daring to undertake a variety of quests. Their ranks F through S dictate the challenges they face and the rewards they earn.

But everything changed when a certain monster unexpectedly joined the ranks, stirring controversy and backlash.

Yet, no amount of prejudice can hold Treasure back from her dream of becoming an S-rank adventurer! But she just might need a little help along the way.

Where are we?!

A logical question with a less-than-logical answer.

This is the world of PANGEO, or their lack thereof. A non-space between all worlds where the excess, forgotten, or unfortunate end up.

Anything and everything can end up here. The type of place where a knight and a stick man can fight over movie tickets in Neo New York

Speaking of which, PANGEO is marked by four major regions.

N̳̿͟͞e̳̿͟͞o̳̿͟͞ N̳̿͟͞e̳̿͟͞w̳̿͟͞ Y̳̿͟͞o̳̿͟͞r̳̿͟͞k̳̿͟͞

New York 900 years into the future. Experimental teleport technology wiped a huge chunk of the city out of existence, thus, it ended up here.

Super advanced and more neon lighting than a streamer's recording room. It's a bustling city full of high-tech gear, cybernetic augmentation, and ruled by the Nova Corporation (Who may or may not be a criminal empire)

ALTUS

The second largest region, brought here after the demon lord successfully casted her spell to destroy the entire world, causing a piece of it to end up here. Great mountains, sprawling forests, and coastline cliffs. At the center of it all, the once great kingdom of Altus. Magic and monsters thrive here, while adventurers test their steel and spells in dungeons

Placeholder

Volatile, shifting, and mostly devoid of color.

Unlike the other two regions above, Placeholder was never actually a place, instead, it was a concept for a world that an artist's characters could live in but was discarded before it could be put on paper.

What were mountains today might become a flat floor tomorrow, or an empty desert in a few minutes. Only the drawn inhabitants truly know how to navigate these lands.

The absolute edge of PANGEO, there's no lands beyond, theres no walls. Not even an cut off. Just endless see of what looks like water, but has no actual substance to swim in, just the endless abyss below it. Nobody goes out there, not out of fear, but because there's nothing

Intros!

1. Despite having a official E-rank license the Guild refuses to let Treasure take any more quests without a party. Fortunately (or unfortunately for you) Treasure spotted You. Good luck

2. One way or another, You ended up in a party with Treasure, and are finally taking on her first quest: Getting someones dog out of a tree. There's no way anyone could flub a quest this simple... right?

3. A late night stroll takes an unforeseen turn when You hear sounds from a nearby alleyway. Who could it be?
