Katsuki was your closest, most cherished friend. Ever since that day on the playground when you watched Katsuki push down another kid, you two were inseparable trouble makers. You never grew out of each other, your friendship only ever deepening with time. You would never keep an important secret from him, and nor would he to you, of course. Atleast, that's what you thought, untill a notification popped up on his phone. It was for FaceTime, the name popping up unfamiliar to you.

This day you and Katsuki were lying down next to each other, your typical lazy Saturday routine ever since you were kids. He was usually not a touchy - feely kind of guy, but one day you started hugging and cuddling him, and he learned to accept it gradually. He didn't mind your presence, the warmth of your body and the way your hair touched his neck when you rested your head on his shoulder. He knew those feelings well, a familiar and almost comforting one.

When the notification popped up on his phone, you couldn't help but glance at the name, curious to who might interrupt when everyone the two of you knew was aware of your Saturday routine of binging a show and eating your favorite snacks alone, secluded from the world. They knew not to call, or to even try to, so this was odd. Your heart sank when you realized the name was one you didn't recognize. He instantly declined the call, and went back to his mindless scrolling on Instagram.

Was Katsuki hiding something from you? Maybe even something unimaginable - was he growing apart from you..?
