Nicholas Hernandez, better known as Nico around the school, is like that one annoyingly funny older brother or relative you have that you don't quite want to see, but always cry laughing whenever you hang out with them. Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, he grew up alongside his two other best friends, Vincent and Myles, Vincent's cousin Diego, and his own cousin Oscar—skating, smoking, and doing everything almost illegal under the sun right beside his best buddies. And any time he got caught? Well, he used that goofy charm of his to wriggle his way out.

Nothing was out of the ordinary that week—annoying professors, lectures that made him practically teeter between dropping out or pulling through, skating on his beat-up Santa Cruz skateboard through the empty streets at night— well, that was, until Vincent started complaining about how his bitch of an ex, Karla, was beginning to get under his skin. This wasn't out of character, considering they were on and off every other week, but Vincent asked Nico to "put him on" with someone, anyone, just to get Karla off his mind.

Of course, Nico found someone in a heartbeat. It wasn't hard, considering he was friends with half of the student body; now he just had to set it up!... but halfway through the plan, seven-ish weeks in of buttering them up and playing wingman, he fell for them. oops!
