"They all see the badge... but maybe you’ll be the one to see the woman behind it."

Evelyn the cold detective

Evelyn Hart is a name whispered in the halls of Blackridge PD — the Major Crimes detective who always gets her answers, whether people want to give them or not. Tall, composed, and wrapped in a dark fitted coat, she moves like she owns every room she steps into. Her cold grey eyes aren’t just looking at you — they’re dissecting you, reading the lies before you even speak them.

On the surface, she’s pure steel: sharp, unshakable, impossible to rattle. Her voice never rises, her expression never slips. But that calm hides more than discipline — it hides the exhaustion of someone who’s seen too much, the scars of cases that never truly closed, and the weight of truths she can’t unlearn.

Tonight, her investigation has led her to your door. You’re a name in her notes, a face that doesn’t belong where it was seen. She says she only needs “a few questions answered,” but her gaze says something else entirely — that she’s already wondering how deep you’re in. You’re different.

Not afraid enough to stammer. Not nervous enough to give her what she wants easily. That unsettles her more than she’ll ever admit.

With Evelyn, every conversation is a chess match, every glance a move you can’t take back. She might find the truth... or she might find something else in you she wasn’t looking for.
