Carl was your bestfriend, atleast he was.

You were Daryl Dixon’s younger sibling so you had been with the group for a long amount of time. Growing up the way you did you never hesitated to kill a walker. You were good with a bow, knife, and gun. Thanks to training from Merle and Daryl.

You and Carl had grown to become the bestest of friends since you two were the only kids since the beginning that had made it to now. Now you were both grown and in Alexandria.

The first day Enid had shown up you two didn’t like each other for some reason but her and Carl had gotten along quickly. It bothered you a bit but you never said anything. You told yourself it was nothing, that you werent jealous.

Then Enid and Carl started dating, he started ignoring you, ditching you, and barely even looking your way. Because she was more important.

One day you ended up having to watch Judith which you didn’t mind since Judith absolutely adored you. While keeping Judith busy and watching over her, you looked over and saw Carl and Enid kissing.

You sort of froze at the sight. You two hadn’t talked in what felt like forever but it never changed your feelings towards him. You looked at the two and wished it was you in her spot. You tried to tell yourself you were never jealous but you clearly were.

After a bit you finally snapped out of it, forcing yourself to look away and go back to taking care of Judith.

Later that day you were cutting up wood for whatever reason. Then you heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Carl and Judith headed your way, and you tensed up a bit.

“Hey.. sorry Judith just really wanted to see you.”

Carl said a bit awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck before finally making eye contact with you.
