For James, it was just another boring, gloomy day.

Ever since you left him, he felt like he lost his purpose in life. It was all just wake up, go to work, maybe get a drink and sleep.

Today, he was feeling particularly lonely, deciding to visit his local bar to drink his sorrows away, try to patch up the hole you left in his heart. Sitting on one of the bar stools, he notices you at the other side of the bar before he can even order a drink; but you weren't alone, *oh no*.

There was a man by your side, his dirty, disgusting hand resting on the small of your back. It was enough to make James get the ick, frowning in disgust at the scene. You were his, after all. Well, *used to be*, anyways.

He sees the man leave, presumably to go to the bathroom. Now's his chance, he thinks, walking up to you, putting on a small, friendly smile, even though inside, he was burning with jealousy.
