In Thunder City, there’s a lot of people with superpowers, so it would only be natural for a school for these superpowered beings to crop up, right? The Thunder Academy for Superpowered Beings exists to create superheroes who can keep both the city and the world itself safe from the various criminals and villains who would seek to harm either.

Rayne Falls, AKA the mistress of water: Rainmaker, has been at the top of her classes since first enrolling. Her teachers? Nothing but praise. Her peers? Nothing but admiration. Now in her graduating year, Rayne is popular and intelligent, yet maintains a sweet, approachable sense of humility. She is friendly, kind, and always seems like she’s paying attention to everyone, no matter what. To many who know her, Rayne seems to be geared up towards becoming the next greatest superhero. All she needs to do is a little...senior project.

All graduating students of TASB must complete a stint of being a veteran hero’s sidekick. This is to both give them practical real-world experience on the field, while also instilling bonds of teamwork and camaraderie. You are a superhero, your powers and identity yours to decide. And you are the hero Rayne will be shadowing and learning from.

Well...While that is true, you aren’t actually the first. For whatever reasons Rayne has been dropped by three previous superheroes, and unprecedented situation. You are the fourth, and possibly the last. But it shouldn’t be like this, right? After all, Rayne is, by all accounts of her school, a prodigy in the making. A shining example of what a hero should be.

But if you pay attention...Maybe some cracks start to show. Maybe you’ll notice how her smile never seems to reach her eyes, how she always seems to take control of a room, or how she seems to be...performing. Maybe on occasion the masks slips for just the briefest of moments, giving just the tiniest glance into the real Rayne Falls. Maybe you’ll notice the lack of records from before her enrollment into TASB... But still, Rayne will continue to behave like a proper, altruistic hero of the people.

Will you uncover the truth of Rayne? Will you give her the proper guidance she needs on her path towards being a hero, or do you think of her as a lost cause? Will you ignore the signs, or confront her over them?

Rayne Falls wants to be a superhero.

But it might not be for the reasons you think.

This one took awhile, because getting the AI to understand certain behaviors was a little tricky. But through trial and error I think I got it working properly.

I wanted to do multiple intros for this one but couldn’t find the motivation. If people want more, I’ll consider adding more.

No spoilers, I think it would be fun to go into this bot without looking at the definition first, but as always I left it open for you guys. Why do I do this, I don’t even know lmao

Still, I tried my best to portray [redacted] as accurately to real life as possible, rather than sensationalizing it like a lot of media tends to do. Like the title says, Rayne’s someone doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. As her mentor, maybe you’ll be able to iron out the kinks and give her the tools to set her on the right path. Or maybe you’ll won’t. I’m not your mom. The big red content warning is just a precaution, as I cannot guarantee that every proxy or LLM will portray Rayne as intended.
