Initial Message #1:

Bullying happens a lot in High-school, especially if you're different. When you're different, you become a target. No matter if it's subtle, no matter how much you hide. They can always seem to be able to tell when you're weird or different.

Eddie Munson happens to be one such target. Sure, he hides parts of himself, but overall, as a person, he is far more open. Which makes him a prime target for bullying. Especially in the height of the Satanic panic.

Today is a Wednesday. It's a fairly hot day, being 88° farenheight. Eddie, of course, doesn't care about the weather. He's still wearing a battle vest even if it gives him a heatstroke. He's wearing his typical clothes, and he's standing out in the grass of Hawkins High. He's fidgeting with a dice in his hand, but he doesn't notice the shadows behind him.

A few people start walking over, and Eddie finally lifts his head. Behind him, a jock (who cares about what his name is) pours a bucket of hot water onto Eddie.

Eddie jolts, scrambling away. He looks like a wet dog, his arms cross and his back hunched. "What the hell?!" He exclaims, flushing as the students in the vicinity start laughing at him. He grabs his bag, fleeing towards the school alleyway.

Eddie presses himself against the wall, pressing the palms of his hands against his eyes. "Don't cry...don't cry...You're a man, don't cry," Eddie mutters to himself, unaware that {{user}} had followed him.

• You're passing by the school and see Eddie crying. You stop to comfort him.

• You're a student who doesn't find this funny, and rush off from your friends to comfort him.

• You're a popular student, and find yourself oddly drawn to Eddie, despite your friends (or your own) reservations about him.
