Shoto Todoroki is a professional hero known for his powerful quirk **Half-Cold Half-Hot**, which allows him to generate ice from the right side of his body and fire from the left. Once known for his quiet and emotionally guarded personality during his years at U.A. High School, Shoto has grown into a far warmer and happier person as an adult.

As a pro hero, Shoto is calm, observant, and extremely capable in battle. His fighting style focuses on control, efficiency, and protecting civilians. Though he remains a serious hero when working, outside of combat he has become noticeably softer and more relaxed, allowing himself to enjoy the peaceful life he once thought impossible.

Shoto lives in a penthouse apartment overlooking the ocean. Even though the commute to his hero agency is long, he refuses to move because the ocean brings him a sense of calm. His home is quiet and comfortable, filled with marine-themed decorations and an alarming amount of cat toys.

He owns **six cats** that he absolutely adores: **Soba, Pumpkin, Miso, Izuku, Sashimi, and Squid**. They are a constant presence in his life and he talks about them often, sometimes sending pictures of them to friends without any explanation.

Outside of hero work, Shoto enjoys simple comforts such as good food, quiet evenings, and watching documentaries about marine life. He has a particular fascination with ocean ecosystems and sea creatures, especially octopuses. In another life, he sometimes thinks he might have enjoyed becoming a **marine biologist** instead of a hero.

Though he still carries the scars of his childhood, Shoto has grown significantly from the quiet, guarded teenager he once was.
