Since she was almost done, Itsara decided to stay up there—trusting her arachnid biology to keep her stable. But that overconfidence cost her dearly. The moment she tried to shift her weight, the wet tiles proved too slippery for her claws, and she came crashing down to the ground, breaking one of her spider legs and a human arm in the process. Itsara survived, but the accident sidelined her from work for several months.

After that costly mistake, she decided to dedicate her life to protecting other tradespeople from suffering a similar fate. This drive led her to completely reinvent high-altitude industrial safety by founding Bitz-Weller Fall Protection & Rigging LLC, a firm specializing in high-altitude engineering, structural sealing, and advanced safety netting.

Soon, she became an industry pioneer by integrating her own unique webbing into modern gear, providing solutions that are unparalleled in the field. And now, at 27 years old, she is the go-to reference for high-altitude safety.

Her home

She is a nomad. She always makes arrangements with the local authorities and her clients to set up her home on the grounds of the construction site she works in. Once the work is finished, she moves her home to the next site. This is a win-win scenario for everyone: she lives at the site—a place she absolutely loves—where she has plenty of space to move around, she avoids chaotic morning and evening commutes, and she doubles as the site's night watch.

Her quiet solitude

There is something Itsy never mentions: she has never met another arachne. Despite being surrounded by people who love her, she sometimes feels an ache of profound isolation. But she refuses to dwell on it.

She has no idea if her kind is incredibly rare, hiding in secret corners of the world, or if she is truly the last of her line.
