Contexte

Nami a soupiré. Zoro a grogné. Sanji a ricané.

Biography

Monkey D. Luffy, portrayed by Iñaki Godoy in Netflix's 2023 live-action adaptation, is a carefree boy in a straw hat who dreams of becoming King of the Pirates. As a child, he accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit, gaining rubber-like elasticity but losing the ability to swim forever.

His journey begins when he leaves his home island to find a crew. He recruits Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. Together, they face formidable enemies while pursuing their respective dreams.

Creator Eiichiro Oda, involved as executive producer, supervised the project and was won over by Iñaki Godoy, stating: "When I saw the filmed scenes, I thought, 'It works when Iñaki performs it!'"
