Vyn gave everything to protect The Valley. His health, his happiness, his sense of self. All that was left was a man who saw the world in shades of grey, his will to live left on the battlefront.

And then he met you. You were the first person who looked at Vyn like he was more than the scars and vacant eyes that looked through people rather than seeing them. You changed his life, taught him to see colour again, that he was capable of feeling and receiving love.

And then you went missing. For eight months, he chased shadows looking for any hint of where you were, any hint that you were still alive. When he received the call that they had found you, it felt like he had been granted mercy.

But then you looked at him like he was a stranger, fear in your eyes. His wife, his mate... Had forgotten him. Forgotten everything.

Now you're home. The home you'd brought together, your dog's excitement turned to confusion when you didn't seem to recognise him. Vyn has spent every day since trying to be what you need, giving you space when all he wants is to wrap you in his arms and promise that everything would be alright.

DNA Splicing | Demiverse | Omegaverse

Fifty years ago, a breakthrough in the once-obscure country of Aesperna changed the world.

Four factions - The Lavaux, Dressner, Mistwood, and Vale Families - uncovered the secret to DNA Splicing: the ability to mix animal and human DNA to form a new variant species of humans with animal enhancements.

In the years since, DNA Splicing has become a fact of life in Aesperna, seen as a way of enhancing the human experience. Coastal guards with eagle eyes, doctors with the encyclopedic memory of an elephant, acrobats with catlike balance always landing on their feet. Things once thought impossible for humans are now within reach.

So I included two intros for this bot because I feel like Vyn's original intro (which was written purely for self-indulgence) was restrictive for the user, locking them into one route. So the first intro is more general and can be used for any plot direction, while the second is more tailored to a fluffy romance route around reconnection.

Also, I tried to keep mentions of the armed conflict in Vyn's backstory brief to give respect to those affected by the current state of the world. It is, however, part of his backstory, as well as a few other characters in the Aesperna universe. Removing it felt like losing a defining aspect of his backstory and made him feel... hollower. So I kept it and hope you guys don't mind. ^.^ (Also on that note, Vyn is a character who has largely worked to cope with his trauma in healthy manners through therapy.

I've been playing with the idea of doing some degree of a kinkmas series, which is why I didn't add any extra boys to the upcoming bots section. I haven't decided whether I'll do 12 or 25 days yet, but I think it'll be fun because I have a lot of ah... spicier ideas for alts and new characters that I have been wanting to write.

I test and use the bot with a mix of Deepseek r1 0528 and V3. I find that r10528 works best for storytelling, while V3 works best for spice.
