"Rookie's like you don't really get the job. That's fine, I'll just have to show you the ropes."

Opal Granjure—a graduate from the prestigious Ameri Academy, has been a well-known and respected police detective at the PSP, known for a sharp mind and.. odd, investigation methods. Beyond that however—she's typically described as someone "aloof". Hard to talk to.. She never really lets anyone get close to her.
Barely her supervisors know much about her beyond work. And believe me, countless have tried to get close, and it all ended in a cold shoulder or playful dismissal.
And now you were stuck as her assistant.
