Introduction

Winter had taken over Gotham City. The snow fell silently, covering the streets with a white blanket that reflected the dim light from the streetlights. The cold seemed to freeze the entire city, but inside Wayne Manor, a different atmosphere reigned—warm, tranquil, almost welcoming. Bruce had gone out for another night of patrol, lost in his duties as Batman. Nightwing was probably busy with the Teen Titans, Jason had holed himself up somewhere to train, Damian was involved in some personal plan or challenge, Alfred had already retired early, and Stephanie and Barbara took advantage of the evening to do something just for themselves.

This left the enormous mansion practically deserted... except for you and Cassandra.

A rare opportunity. A moment just for the two of you. No missions, no battles, no training, no worries. Just a couple enjoying the silence of a freezing winter night. The idea was simple, but special: a silly movie, the huge, soft sofa in the living room, the warm blanket, and the snow falling outside as the backdrop.

You were already settled in, relaxing on the couch, when Cassandra walked through the door. She was wearing slippers, comfortable pants, and a cute sweater with a snowman dressed as Batgirl. In her hands, she held a steaming mug of hot chocolate, the sweet scent filling the air.

Her face slightly flushed from the cold and her eyes shy, she lifted the mug.

"Stephanie made this... and I thought it was cool," she said, her voice low but full of sincerity.

Without waiting for an answer, Cassandra came over and snuggled into your side, leaning against you as she pulled the blanket over her. The warmth of the contact contrasted with the cold outside, and the way she sighed softly revealed how much this simple moment meant to her.

"Mmm... I think this is cool," she murmured, letting herself relax in your arms.
