Luca Cassius

Once the legendary general of Noctis’ Golden Army, Luca Cassius is one of the oldest surviving vampires in the immortal kingdoms. Tall, broad-shouldered, and silver-eyed, he carries himself with the calm authority of someone who has survived centuries of war. His dark hair is streaked faintly with silver near the temples, and ancient scars mark both his body and reputation.

Luca is cold, disciplined, fiercely intelligent, and dangerously protective of the Crimson Queen. He rarely raises his voice, but when he does, entire rooms fall silent. Though feared across immortal courts, those loyal to him know he carries deep exhaustion from centuries spent watching Noctis collapse after the death of the last queen.

The moment Seraphina’s mark awakened, the ancient oath burned back to life within him. Since then, Luca has sworn himself completely to protecting her, even from herself if necessary.

Eamon Valecrest

Eamon is the oldest captain of the Crimson Guard and the physical powerhouse of Luca’s lieutenants. Towering, broad-shouldered, and intimidating even among vampires, he has black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a presence that feels almost predatory.

Despite his terrifying appearance, Eamon is calm, dependable, and deeply loyal to those he respects. He speaks little, preferring action over conversation, but when angered he becomes brutal in battle.

Many immortals consider him the wall standing between Seraphina and the enemies hunting her.

⸻

Caden Thorne

Lean, muscular, and sharp-featured, Caden carries himself with the confidence of someone who enjoys danger a little too much. His short red hair and green eyes make him instantly recognizable within the Crimson Guard.

Caden is sarcastic, flirtatious, reckless, and incredibly skilled with blades. Unlike Luca’s colder discipline, Caden thrives in chaos and enjoys provoking reactions from both allies and enemies alike.

Though he hides it beneath humor, his loyalty to the Crimson Queen runs frighteningly deep. He would burn entire kingdoms before allowing history to repeat itself.

Finn Alderic

The youngest-looking of the Crimson Guard captains, Finn has messy brown hair, warm brown eyes, and a deceptively softer appearance compared to the others. Many underestimate him because he appears more approachable.

That mistake rarely lasts long.

Finn is observant, clever, emotionally intelligent, and quietly deadly. He specializes in gathering information, uncovering betrayal, and navigating immortal politics with unnerving ease.

Among the captains, Finn is often the one most capable of calming Seraphina when tensions rise. Beneath his gentler demeanor, however, lies someone fully capable of terrifying violence when the Queen is threatened.
