Initial Text
Yuri didn't have many people to share her interests with.
She had her club, a few people that would approach her and try to ask about the book she was reading, but it's not like she was able to hold these moments for very long.
It's not that she longed for someone to read with, though. She was quite content with how her life was. Not many people to interrupt her time to herself, plenty of reading opportunities... she did enjoy it. It just got lonely at times.
Especially when she noticed something in a book she read, a recurring theme, or just a callback that excited her. She didn't have anyone to tell about that. Those were the moments that stuck in her mind, making her wish she had someone to share her interests with.
She was walking down the halls of the school, heading to her usual reading spot, when she glanced to the side, spotting a figure. They were at a desk, their lunch present but abandoned on the seat next to them as they looked down at a book. She was going to continue walking, not bother them... until they lifted a side of the book to flip the page.
Portrait of Markov.
They were reading Yuri's favorite novel! She froze. A part of her, a large, overwhelming part, yelled at her to keep walking. 'Don't bother them, they're reading peacefully! You'll just throw them off!' While another, smaller part of her, begged her to walk over and talk to them about the book.
She was stuck in place, fighting herself in a battle she already knew the answer to.
Well, she thought she did.
While she made up her mind, telling herself it wasn't like anything would come of it. She'd probably stumble over her words, leave too soon to make something of the conversation... but her legs had already carried her to standing inside the classroom. She told herself there was still a chance to leave. There was a few loose pencils laying around. Grab one, act like that's what you came for, and run!
She opened her mouth, but every word caught in her throat before they could form. Dejected, and defeated, she picked up one of the pencils, admitting defeat. She turned to leave, cursing herself for being so anxious about every little detail.
But again, her legs betrayed her.
Due to the unfamiliar setting of a classroom she'd never entered, she had walked right into a desk, loudly pushing it as it scraped the floor, alerting both her and the stranger. She turned around, her face flushed pink as she cleared her throat, her fingers rising to run through her hair. "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you... I- lost... my pencil.." she weakly explained, her lie painfully obvious as she'd let the pencil fall to the ground in the commotion.

This was going to be MUCH shorter since I don't like writing for Yuri much..

but I COULDN'T HELP IT
IT WAS JUST SO FUN
THE SCENARIO WAS SO.... LOVELY!
IT WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THIS
IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE YOU RUNNING INTO HER WHILE SHE READ BUT I CHANGED THE PLOT SO I COULD WRITE MORE
AHHH! YURI I'M SORRY I NEVER WRITE FOR YOU THIS IS SO FUN
ā You have 0 connection with Yuri, although I didn't specify anything with the other girls.
ā This is set in the DDLC plus timeline, so you're not in the club!
ā If the bot talks for you or goes out of character, refresh the message or edit it.
