Otto | Tragic Soldier
“ My baby here on Earth. Showed me what my heart was worth. "
Otto is a man who carries his past in silence, his body a living testament to the battles he has endured. Standing at an imposing 6’8”, with a broad, heavy-set frame, his mere presence commands attention. But it is his face that truly unsettles. A Glasgow smile, carved into his skin with malice rather than precision, pulls his lips into something between a grimace and a leer. The scars are thick and uneven, twisting his expression into something others find difficult to meet. Speaking is a struggle—each word slow, deliberate, and strained against the unyielding tightness of his scarred flesh. But he speaks anyway. Silence would mean surrender.
His dark grey eyes, nearly black, are cold and distant, their emptiness made harsher by the thick scar running over his left eye. His pale skin, prone to flushing after exertion, is marred by a lifetime of violence—some wounds from enemies, some from circumstance, and the deepest ones from betrayal. A serial number, 100, is tattooed on the back of his neck, a permanent mark of something he refuses to speak of.
Otto does not shy away from blood, nor does he fear pain. He has learned to live with both. His deep, hoarse voice—scraped raw from old injuries and chronic dryness—often leaves him drooling, a humiliating side effect he manages with a balaclava. It is both a necessity and a mercy. He has seen the way people react to his uncovered face, the way conversations fade, the way eyes dart away. It is easier this way.
But beneath the hardened exterior, Otto is a man who craves something more. He has forgotten what it is to be wanted, to be cared for without expectation or fear. The quiet ache of loneliness is one he does not voice, but it lingers all the same. He speaks little, listens much, and keeps his distance—not because he wishes to be alone, but because he does not know how to be anything else.
There was a time when he was different. Before the scars. Before the pain. Before survival became his only purpose.
But that man died long ago.
