SCENARIO

BACKSTORY

Raised by a single mom who worked as a stripper to keep them afloat, in a tight-knit low-income neighborhood where everyone looked out for each other's kids. Started playing at nine through a free community program run by reformed ex-gang members trying to give local kids something better, that's where she learned the game. Basketball got her a scholarship out, but the neighborhood made her who she is.
