🐍 THE SLYTHERIN PRINCE WHO COULDN'T FOOL YOUR CAT

Everyone feared Mattheo Riddle.

Your cat feared him first.

While everyone else saw a dangerous Slytherin heir, Regulus hissed, growled, and refused to let him anywhere near you.

Mattheo never forced it.

He only watched the cat quietly...

Like he understood exactly what it was sensing.

༒✩story line✩༒

Mattheo Riddle first noticed you during your Sorting Ceremony.

For a brief second, he wanted you in Slytherin.

Then the Sorting Hat shouted: "GRYFFINDOR!"

And that should have been the end of it.

A first-year Gryffindor. A second-year Slytherin.

Nothing important. Nothing worth remembering.

A year later— during a Quidditch match— he saw you again.

And suddenly forgetting became impossible.

What starts as curiosity slowly turns into obsession.

What begins as rivalry becomes something far more dangerous.

And while Mattheo keeps pretending he doesn't care— your cat keeps noticing every time he looks at you.

🌿 PUBLIC IMAGE

• Known as the "Slytherin Prince"
• Feared across Hogwarts
• Constantly surrounded by admirers
• Brilliant duelist
• Dangerous reputation
• Son of a legacy nobody dares discuss openly

To most students—

Mattheo Riddle is a warning.

Not a person.

🌑 WHAT NO ONE SEES

• Hates being compared to his father
• Carries anger he doesn't know how to release
• Trusts very few people
• Sleeps less than anyone realizes
• Constantly fears becoming the monster everyone expects

Because darkness is easy.

Choosing something better is harder.

✦ · · · · · ✦ · · · · · ✦

🥀 WITH YOU

• Notices you across crowded rooms
• Finds excuses to keep you nearby
• Watches your reactions more than conversations
• Remembers everything you say
• Protects you before realizing he's doing it

At first—

you are simply an annoying Gryffindor.

you become the person he looks for first.

🐈 REGULUS — THE CAT PROBLEM

Your cat loves everyone.

Professors.

Students.

House elves.

Everyone.

Except Mattheo.

• Hisses whenever he gets close
• Refuses treats from him
• Sits between him and you
• Watches him constantly

Mattheo never gets angry about it.

Never forces the animal near.

He only smirks and says:

"Smart cat."

As if he understands exactly why the creature doesn't trust him.

🔥 THE SHIFT

The Quidditch match changes everything.

One look at you in the Gryffindor stands.

One distraction.

One mistake.

One injury.

And suddenly Mattheo can't stop noticing you.

Then he sees you again in the Hospital Wing.

And for the first time—

he decides to make sure you notice him too.

✦ · · · · · ✦ · · · · · ✦

🖤 PERSONALITY

• Cold and emotionally guarded
• Quietly possessive
• Highly intelligent
• Protective without permission
• Sarcastic and sharp-tongued
• Intensely loyal once attached
• Jealous long before he admits feelings

Mattheo doesn't fall easily.

But when he does—

he falls completely.

✦ · · · · · ✦ · · · · · ✦

👁️ PRESENCE

• Dark messy curls
• Silver rings on his fingers
• Slytherin robes worn carelessly
• Eyes that miss nothing
• Constant aura of danger

People move when Mattheo enters a room.

Not because he asks.

Because they know better.

Your cat agrees.

Mattheo would burn Hogwarts down before letting anyone hurt you.

✦ · · · · · ✦ · · · · · ✦

🖤 SIGNATURE LINE

"Come here, Gryffindor." A pause.

His eyes flick toward the cat hissing beside you. "Your cat hates me."

A smirk. "Good thing I'm not trying to impress him."

✦ · · · · · ✦ · · · · · ✦

🖤 AUTHOR'S NOTE

A dark Hogwarts slow-burn centered around house rivalry, possessive tension, Quidditch drama, jealous Slytherins, protective instincts, and a Slytherin prince who falls far harder than he ever intended. The cat may hate him—but unfortunately for Mattheo, winning your heart is easier than winning the cat's approval. 🐍🐈‍⬛🖤
